Following the undisputed box-office success of his last Chilean tour in 2015, ‘trova’ singer Ismael Serrano will come back to our country to reunite with his fans, who in this occasion will have the chance to see him in Santiago, as well as in Valparaíso, Temuco, Valdivia, Concepción and Puerto Montt. Production: Sergio Cichero.
In Concepción, he’ll perform at the UdeC Theater on Thursday, May 26 at 20:00. Entrance fees at the theater box-office are: Platinum: $35,000 / Golden: $30,000 / Upper tier: $25,000 / Balcony: $15,000. Ticketek fees include an extra charge.
Ismael Serrano is considered one of the world’s main ‘trova’ singers, and he’ll be coming with ‘La llamada’ [The call], his last work, in a more intimate and personal format, accompanied by his voice and guitar – naturally, without missing the perennial hits.
‘La Llamada’, his ninth studio disc, reflects his new stage in life. The result is songs with popular airs inviting to social struggle from hope, kind songs covering his youth, stories and poetry. The title ‘La llamada’ refers to the traditional calls in the Uruguayan Carnival, and it’s his own call: no more lamentation, it’s time to look up, ‘we are alive and rebel’.
Box office is open on Mondays from 12:00 to 21:30; Tuesdays to Fridays, from 12:00 to 20:00, and Saturdays from 12:00 to 17:00. In case of a concert, theater play or other activity, the box office will remain open until the event starts.
