Three finalists were chosen in the 7th Music Competition for Young Talents, an instance maintained by the University of Concepción Cultural Corporation with the purpose of searching and training new performers. Every year, young musicians are called to participate in this project that allows them to work with a professional symphony orchestra in order to display and perfect their performance skills.

The finalists will perform in a concert with the Symphony Orchestra in 2017. Among them, a winner will be chosen to play as a soloist in the official Symphony Season.

The young performers chosen for this final stage are:

– Juan José Peña (violin, 1st category, until 12 years old).
– Pedro Larraín (piano, 2nd category, until 17 years old).
– Anaís Burgos (violin, 3rd category, until 22 years old).
