The University of Concepción Cultural Corporation presents a series of theater performances for children and teenagers from educational institutions. The play is “Gracias por todo el dolor” [‘Thank You For All The Pain’] and will be performed on Monday 23 October at 09:30 and 11:30 at the UdeC Theater.
This production by the Compañía de Teatro Aplicado (“Applied Theater Company”) directed by Karin Wilkomirsky shows the bullying experienced by a middle-aged woman through the memories of her life as a teenager. The play starts at the end of her life, and then explores different stages of her past, including her family and school life.
’Thank You For All The Pain’ is a play recommended for students aged 12 years or older. It’s an innovative learning resource and a powerful encouragement for teaching that supports the “Education for Life”, developing socio-affective and cultural processes in the students based on values and attitudes. It will encourage reflection—both in homes and classrooms—upon a current topic that causes deep concerns.
The cost per student is $2,500. Educative institutions must register with Romané Santander, phone 41 224 3536, e-mail: firstname.lastname@example.org
