In 1986, Robert Manzur (Bryan Cranston), a policeman about to retire, proposes a new idea for fighting the drug traffic: instead of following the drug shipments he decides to track the money. To do this, he, Kathy Ertz (Diane Kruger) and Emir Abreu (John Leguizamo) infiltrate the leadership of a criminal organization linked to Pablo Escobar, joining the biggest covert antidrug operation in history.
