The 2016 Cinema Mondays series, produced by the University of Concepción Cultural Corporation, presents the British film “The Danish Girl”. Screenings will be on Monday, June 6, at 15:00, 19:00 and 21:30 in the UdeC Theater. Entrance fee: $1,200 (general audience), $600 (students).
Based on the true story of the couple of Danish artists Einar and Gerda Wegener, this film shows the change experienced by Einar when his wife’s female model for a painting misses the appointment. She encourages her husband to adopt a feminine look, and what begins as a game takes Einar to an unexpected metamorphosis. With Eddie Redmayne, Alicia Vikander and Matthias Schoenaerts, among others.
