Cinema Mondays series presents the French film “Mysteries of Lisbon” (part I), directed by Raúl Ruiz, on September 14th at 15:00, 19:00 and 21:30 in the UdeC Theater. Due to its length, the movie will be screened in two parts.

A Lisbon filled with intrigue and concealed identities is inhabited by an assortment of characters somehow linked to the fates of Pedro da Silva –an orphan interned in a boarding school–, Father Dinis –a descendent of licentious aristocrats turned into a champion of justice–; a countess consumed by jealousy and a thirst of revenge; a bloodthirsty pirate turned into a thriving businessman. These and many other characters drift around 19th century history and accompany the protagonist in the quest for his true identity.

Box office is open on Mondays from 12:00 to 21:30; Tuesdays to Fridays from 12:00 to 20:00, and Saturdays from 12:00 to 17:00. In case of a concert, theater play or other activity, the box office will remain open until the event starts.
