Hundreds of actors have spent days locked in and despairing, as they shoot the same scenes once and again and pretend a fake New Year celebration. Fake, because it’s a TV show, the date is August, and the heat is unbearable. Alphonso, the music star, will do anything to make sure his performance will reach the widest audience. Adanne, his antagonist, a young Latino singer, is harassed by his fans. The presenters hate each other and compete to gain the trust of the producer, who fears the closure of the TV channel. They are joined by José, a new extra. What no one knows is that Alphonso’s life is in peril… Starred by the famous singer Raphael, with Mario Casas, Pepón Nieto, Blanca Suárez and Carlos Areces, among others.
Director: Álex de la Iglesia / Country: Spain / Duration: 100 minutes / For all audiences.
