The Concepción Symphony Orchestra and the UdeC Choir present the Educational Season with the show “Indiana Brook, The Quest for the Lost Tomb”. This show will be performed from Monday 6 to Friday 10 June at 10:00 and 12:00 in the UdeC Theater, exclusively for educational institutions. Additionally, there will be a performance for all audiences on Friday 10 at 19:00.
“Indiana Brook” is a theater play with music, written by René Ulloa, a member of our orchestra. It introduces in a playful way the Classical period in music through its greatest exponent: Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.
Through the eyes of the well-known John Sebastian Brook – a character that appeared in previous educational shows – , the students will be able to travel on a time machine to places and dates that will provide information to discover Mozart and his music, which will be performed by the Concepción Symphony Orchestra and the UdeC Choir. Brook, now turned into an amateur archeologist, will solve the riddle surrounding the famous composer and, with ingenuity and imagination, will present anecdotal facts of his life.
Admission fee per student for the performances at 10:00 and 12:00 is $2,500. Just as in previous years, educational institutions must register with Sandra Salazar, mobile phone: 93563222, phone: 041-2976586, e-mail: email@example.com.
