John Sebastian Brook and the Picardy Third is the name of the theater and music show the Concepción Symphony Orchestra has prepared for its Educational Season on the Ground, which will be presented with free admission in Concepción, Hualpén and Hualqui.
Performances will take place on Wednesday 28th October at 19:00 in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Nonguén area, Concepción (Camino a Nonguén 1250); on Thursday 29th October at 12:00 in the Industrial School (Bucarest 2750); and Friday 30th October at 19:00 in the Hualpén Municipal Gymnasium (La Concepción 737). Admission to all these performances is free.
John Sebastian Brook and the Picardy Third, presents in a playful way the music of the great composers from the Baroque period (from about 1600 to 1750), including Antonio Vivaldi, Giovanni Gabrieli, George Frideric Handel, Jean-Baptiste Lully and Johann Sebastian Bach.
In this way, and with visual and historical support, all these composers will go to those three counties to present their most significant works before a King, the audience, and a peculiar apprentice.
