The 2016 Summer Season of Cinema Mondays, a series produced by the University of Concepción Cultural Corporation, presents the Chilean film ‘Alma’, starring Javiera Contador and Fernando Larraín. The film will be screened on Monday, January 4 at 15:00, 19:00 and 21:30 in the UdeC Theater. Entrance fee: $1,200 (general audience), $600 (students).

Fernando is married to Alma, a very cheerful woman affected by a bipolar disorder, who kicks him out of the house when she learns he doesn’t stand her anymore. When Alma meets an Argentinian suitor, he reacts and discovers that he’s still I love with his wife. But it’s too late because she has left for Buenos Aires. Determined to make up with his wife, he’ll go after Alma to convince her that she is his soul (“alma”) mate.

Box office is open on Mondays from 12:00 to 21:30; Tuesdays to Fridays, from 12:00 to 20:00, and Saturdays from 12:00 to 17:00. In case of a concert, theater play or other activity, the box office will remain open until the event starts.
