The University of Concepción Cultural Corporation presents “Violeta Parra Sinfónico”, a musical tribute to the most important Chilean artist of the 20th century, on the 100th anniversary of her birth. This program will be performed on Friday 8 and Saturday 9 September at 19:00 in the UdeC Theater.
The Concepción Symphony Orchestra will take us in a journey through such iconic songs as Run Run se fue pa’l norte, Qué he sacado con quererte, Casamiento de negros, Maldigo del alto cielo, Rin del angelito, La lavandera, Volver a los 17, La jardinera, Corazón maldito and Gracias a la vida, in music arrangements by Guillermo Rifo and Rodrigo Tapia.

Soloists: Valeria Gutiérrez and Lucía Chacón.
General audience: $5,000 / Balcony: $4,000.
Box office is open on Mondays from 12:00 to 15:00 and from 15:45 to 21:30; Tuesdays to Fridays from 12:00 to 15:00 and from 15:45 to 20:00, and Saturdays from 12:00 to 14:30 and from 15:15 to 17:00. In case of a concert, theater play or other activity, the box office will remain open until the event starts.
